Nickolas Cage once again gives another awesome movie! (I think!)
Movie started off in 1959, Lexington Massachusetts. A competition was held among the elementary students to celebrate its new opening. Winning plan was from Lucinda Emery, a girl that seemed to have a mental problem, her plan is to bury a time capsule containing drawing of what the students will think the future would look like in 50 years when it is reopened. Ludcinda's drawing, a list of numbers, wasn't finished.
50 Years pass and it is time to reopen the capsule, They hand out the drawings. Caleb, [Chandler Canterbury] son of MIT professor & astrophysicist, gets Lucinda's drawing of numbers. Caleb thinks it's a map or something! His father, [Nicolas cage] John, thinks it just some silly random number sequence. Til later he looks back and see's 911012996, the date of the September terrorist attacks along with the amount of deaths. He researches more and finds that the numbers on the paper contain dates and death tolls of every major disaster, man made & natural, that's happen in the past 50 years. With only 3 sequences left to happen.
John shows the list to his friend and he thinks that john is crazy. But after to of the dates comes to be he starts to believe John. John meets Ludcinda's daughter, [Rose Byrne] Diana Whelan, and grand-daughter, [Lara Robinson] Abby Which she also plays as Young Lucinda. Of coures John freaks Diana out once he tells her what has been going on. Later on Diana shows up at Johns & tells him about her mom.
Caleb & Abby can hear the Whispering people, the same one's that Lucinda heard. Later John see's them & thinks that they are trying to hurt Caleb, don't blame him!
Well thats all I can say without giving away the rest of the movie!
All in all I think it was a good. I would say a must see, but if your not into knowing world ending type things than don't think it's for you! But if you can put that a side and just remember that it's a movie than I'm sure you'll enjoy it! Don't think this movie had any dry parts in it, like a part where nothing is going on & than it gets boring... well not in this one!!
The movie is out on DVD, so you can rent it or whatever!
